Born in Greenwood and raised in Spartanburg, Briona Reed (Bri) carries the warm essence of Southern hospitality into every strategy she builds. A true Southern belle with a powerhouse mind, she set new generational standards as the first in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree, graduating from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing.
Briona didn’t just study marketing; she mastered the art of carving out a path where none existed. After seeing too many doors stay closed, she stopped waiting for permission and created her own lane: Maangi Fi Creative Agency. Here, she blends her academic excellence with an innate ability to read people, helping small businesses cultivate clarity, confidence, and a digital presence that commands attention.
The name Maangi Fi (Wolof for “I am here/I am alive") is her personal anthem. It’s an inspiring declaration that reinvention is real and that Southern grit can turn any hard season into a launchpad.
